Paper bag Mini Album
This week I've been multitasking with lots of different projects and resurrecting some old projects. Who doesn't like to do that? Right? Anyway, here is a gorgeous little paper bag mini album I made using the Winking Frog collection from Heartfelt Creations. I just love, love, love these papers. So many gorgeous colours and cute little frogs. I also purchased some dies to go with it so I can cut some of the images out without fuss. Did I mention I hate fussy cutting? Heartfelt Creations have a knack for bringing out paper collections that are just stunning. I also love their flowers. The next project I am thinking about is one using the collection called Coffee Talk....again just gorgeous colours, earthy, just my thing.
Ok, lets get started on this project. I can be a little time consuming by the time you cut out all the elements you want to use but the album itself goes together very quickly.
I started out with two paper bags measuring 11.9 x 22.6 cm. I bought these at my local $2 shop and have them in lots of different colours. I cut the corners off one bag and slipped it partway into the other bag then lined up the ends. I then cut some of the Winking Frog paper to fit the pieces shown.
I glued all the pieces down and then started to work on my inside pages. It doesn't really matter how long or short or what configuration of pages you want to put in, it's entirely up to you.

I also cut some tags to put in it and then worked on the front.

You can add stamping to the pages or even write little messages for the recipient. (I usually like to give mine away to people either filled with photos or ready for them to fill themselves.)

You can also get the album ready and put all the embellishments into a bag and give the whole thing as a gift. Below is a video showing the complete process but using Candy Cane Lane DSP from Stampin' Up!
