Snow Friends Slider Card
I had so much fun making this Snow Friends slider card. It was easier than I thought it was going to be. I started out by gathering all of my supplies. I used the Stampin' Up! Snow Friends stamp set and coordinating framelits. I also used the Lawn Fawn Stitched hillsides border dies and the Snow Cool stamp and die sets.
I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock to measure 8 1/2 by 5 7/8 inches and scored it at 4 1/4 inches. I then layered another piece over the top of that which was exactly half the size of the main card piece. So 4 1/4 by 5 7/8 inches. I secured the two pieces together using a sticky note to make sure that it didn't move. I used the Sliding Star Framelits and cut out the "smile" shape from both pieces.
You can then separate the two pieces. Next I used the short piece to lay the stitched hillsides border dies on and cut those out
Check out the video below for more exact instructions. Cut out your little Christmas trees which I have stamped in Old Olive ink and then position across the card however you would like. I then worked on the slider part which was just two buttons and some dimensionals. To support the slider component I used some of our Foam tape
Next I worked on my snow men, adding all the little pieces of clothing and arms to them and then glued them down onto my card. I glued another piece of card onto the inside of the card to hide all the slider components.
